Fire Dreaming an original artwork by Janet Nakamarra has been used by our artisans to create this outfit to use with 38cm dolls. The Fire Dreaming ceremony is part of the six seasonal cycles on the Aboriginal calendar.
This ceremony is part of the Tingari Cycle. It takes place the night before the controlled fires are lit in the bush and caries on throughout the night to provide the right relationship and balance between the people and the land on which they depend. An innovative and unique resource to encourage cultural competence, respect for diversity and exploration of identity. This resource also explores the heritage associated with traditional storytelling elements and connects children to our rich and diverse history. Made from 100% eco friendly natural cotton.
Outfit is a button Shirt in the cotton artists fabric and the shorts in dark natural colours like black, dark grey and khaki cotton as provided by our seam stresses.
